I’m Heading to See Radiohead in Concert Tonight! Part 2

So I’m going with my fiance Carl to see my favorite band of all time Radiohead in concert tonight! I’m so hype!!! I love them so much that we are gonna use one of their songs as our wedding song! I wanted you guys to join me in the fun! Well Nikisha, you are officially my girl crush…Radiohead is my fav band of all time as well and I’m seeing them next Sunday! there’s a song from each and every album that could musically narrate a time in my life…unbelievable how they just keep crankin’ it out creative and moving music. Love! Anyway, I’ve followed the blog for about a year, natural for over 5 years and love this blog. It has truly inspired me to stay authentic to who I am…it is also very comforting to see beautiful, unique, and authentic black women doing the same. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it means a lot to know ‘we’ are out there staying authentic to who we are despite naysayers.

ahhhhh!!! I went to see them on Thursday in Newark and it was amazing. Like I actually was in heaven for two hours and it inspired me so much (and still is). You will love it.

Enjoy what you enjoy and build a brick wall of IDGAF around you, welcome the side eyes even and don’t let anyone put you in a box. The only people that matter are your close friends and family, they might tease but they love you still and really don’t care. So why keep quiet just to satisfy those that aren’t even that close to you and don’t love you? Are you living for you or living for them? Could you imagine if Jimi Hendrix or Lenny Kravitz kept quiet? Peace and love! xxxx

Wow… I’m so sad. Radiohead is also one of my all time favorite bands, but by the time I found out about the concert in dc it was already sold out. Luckily a radio station where I live was doing a radio dial in for tickets. I lost and didn’t get them. Theeeennn the Friday before the concert the station discovered they had more tickets. The call in times to win were 7am, 8am, 12pm, 5pm, and 6pm … I tried all of those hours but still didn’t win. So nooow they’re going to other random places in the US, then back to Europe. I hope the concert was delightful though!!!!!
