As you brush your shoulders off now that we have established your reign over natural hair, can you reach back and remember the days when “bc” were just the letters that came after “a”?

Knowing nothing about the natural lingo while trying to tackle your own strands can be a daunting task, and sometimes I think back to those days as a newly natural and wondered if I could take one piece of advice from what I have learned six years later what would it be? Almost simultaneously as I asked myself this question I knew it would be to realize “What benefits another could translate to your disaster. No matter how identical someone’s hair may be to your own, ultimately there are differences, learn to appreciate the differences instead of forcing your hair to become something it’s not”, with that being said…
