If you love all aspects of fashion and live in New York, then you are well aware of New York Fashion week. Approaching faster than you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious…ok, well maybe not that fast, but one of the craziest weeks in the metropolitan area, it certainly feels like it is just a sunrise away.
Invited to some pretty incredible shows this year (which I will of course cover the behind the scenes scoop for all of you), one of the Fall 2014 collections I am excited to see is, Los Angeles based line, Clover Canyon. A mix of architectural lines, abstract shapes, vivid colors and freehand drawings, the collections take pattern mixing in a whole new direction; using patterns rather as a tool to flatter the body versus just pure aesthetic, its no wonder the Knowles sisters are big fans of the line.
Combining psychedelic, old world atlas motif with classic lines, wearing Clover Canyon really is the epitome of art in motion.
Clover Canyon is a celebration of beauty.
Designed and produced in Los Angeles, each Clover Canyon collection reflects the eclectic, joyful spirit of California through vivid prints and streamlined silhouettes. The Clover Canyon atelier is unique: Working collaboratively, and drawing on their shared passion for travel and art, the team design original prints, and hand-engineer them to frame and enhance the body. New technology meets old world craftsmanship as garments are designed, patterned, cut and sewn in-house.
In a word, the look of Clover Canyon is jubilant. These are clothes embarked on an endless voyage, from the tribal plains of Africa and the courts of ancient kings, through the annals of art history, and beyond. Shapes convey the modern ease. Clover Canyon invites women to join them on a journey of the imagination: Where do you want to go?
