Good to hear @0ab8a87bf83933405ba7a23eb31e5dcb:disqus :)
I really enjoyed this… I like the fact the the information was short, sweet and to the point. I love the perspective of women sharing their walk. Laughter and Great conversation mixed with sisterly love… these conversations need to occur more with women… sigh! Thanks ladies! I have something positive to show my daughters and son who all have natural, not permed hair.
Your welcome @7aa381d598176e904c95fe34470e1edc:disqus and thank you! Really excited to be apart of this web series with genuinely beautiful people and feels good that you can share it with your family. I worked with such an amazing team for this series
Nothing beats the radiance of a Black woman who cares for herself –body, mind, and soul. Healthy natural hair is simply regal. Not to take anything from relaxed, healthy hair but I just don’t think you can apply the same term to relaxed hair. Our natural texure is something all our own and we shine best when we rock it. Love this series and these women are just darling!
Thank you @BoooBoo:disqus , these women were just as beautiful on the inside. One of the things I love about natural hair is that there such a wide variety of textures and style
I love this video. Everyone looks beautiful! I especially love the tutorial that was placed in there. Very well done!
Thank you so much @e4f2db0994670ba66fed134f311a06e3:disqus , wish you were there you would have been a great addition! I love the tutorial as well <3
I was all smiles while watching the entire video. I looooooove this whole concept. The part about wanting chilli’s hair type was hilarious! I am also guilty of that as well. Well done ladies. Can’t wait for another vid. (:
Lol @facebook-100000134613681:disqus , Shanti of “Around the Way Curls” was hilarious with that remark, so many of us have had similar stories of what we thought are hair was suppose to be and found out our vision was completely off mark. Thank you so much and the team we worked with was amazing and we can’t wait to share more of this series :DD
Everyone looks lovely and love the way it was filmed.
Thank you sis and I loved the way it was filmed as well. The lighting is off the chain, lol <3
OMG!!! This is going to be so awesome! :O) This is really needed in the natural community to see where people came from to where they are now with their natural journeys….informational, informative just flat out AWESOMENESS!!! LOL
Hahaha, you are too cute but I think you are right! There is so much love in positivity in our community and it needs to be highlighted more through larger media platforms! The team and Director we worked with are amazing and I really feel blessed to be apart of this series :D @google-34f223b93bb4eac2c3c32643ea1beaa6:disqus
Freakin’ awesome!! YAY!! More, more, more!! =) blessings to all!
@9837d2ae705986f5fc51a6904ddf6a24:disqus getting me excited, lol . Thank you so much, really good to hear you want to see more
LOVE LOVE LOVE! I can’t wait for the next episode! It is so enlightening to see and hear the experience of other women with natural hair. This makes my soul and hair happy!
Thank you so much @google-c21498b77329ceb2d1dcf4612865eba1:disqus , the energy the day of the shoot was so relaxed and genuine. I really feel blessed to be apart of this series. Lol, “this makes my soul and hair happy” too
I’m really confused as to why the title of this video is “curls” yet the first hairstyle they demonstrate requires straightened hair (which is actually doesn’t). Nice video though… I hope this doesn’t come across as negative. Just I was expecting to see CURLS! and curl-esqe styling.
Nothing wrong with asking questions @45dca0be6fd63f97348b88182abedb02:disqus Well as you can see the beginning of the episode starts off with many different textures of natural hair that has not been altered but I also think the point of the series is to show how versatile natural hair can be
it is such a joy to watch this project come together! i feel like we’ve been able to come right along with you on this journey, miss cipriana, and even have a stake in it’s success! once i knew that UBB was going to be an integral part of this project i signed up! i’m now a member of the transitioning movement even though i actually transitioned a few years ago. thank you for taking us with you and allowing us a backstage pass! i can’t wait to see what’s next! <3
@monniej01:disqus you are so sweet and absolutely right! Nikisha and I appreciate the support so much as you can tell from us trying to comment back to everyone as much as possible.
This is really good to hear and my pleasure! We feel blessed to have such amazing supporters and I can’t wait to share more :DDD
Love your site have the same almost exact hair as yours I wanted to know what you thought about the brush she used on her hair while she did her updo if you think it’s good for your hair type and where I can find one. I also wanted to know how you get to your scalp good if you wash your hair in braided sections.
