With tantalizing sultry tones Singer/Songwriter Andreya Triana, originally from London, creates eclectic sounds of acoustic jazz and folk over husky tones that instantly make you feel in a “glass of wine, candles surrounding the bathtub, relaxing kind of mood.”
Singing at the age of seven Triana’s desire for music transpired at an early age which led to writing poetry, recording/sampling tracks and creating harmonies for hours in her bedroom. Influenced by the inner city of London, Triana moved to Worchester at the age of 17 where she started performing open mic nights. Soon after collaborating with Flying Lotus at the Redbull Music Academy in Melbourne and performing at the Glastonbury Festival, Triana’s debut single “Lost Where I belong” was released on Ninja Tune in 2010.
For now Andreya Triana is performing live in Europe but with unforgettably haunting, enticing sounds here is a little something to satisfy the appetite in the meanwhile… Click here to watch her music video –>Far Closer
