Tell us where you are from, the early years of your childhood and what influenced your direction towards a business in Vegan food?
I’m from Woodbridge Virginia. I grew up in a quite neighborhood and lived 10 minutes away from a marina and the woods so I  spent a lot of free time there. A big influence is my passion for nutrition and being able to spread holistic awareness through food.

Why the name Raw Cells?
Majority of my treats are raw and they all nourish your body on a cellular level so I think Raw Cells fit well

Where did your inspiration stem from or a defining moment in founding Raw Cells
I get really inspired from junk food businesses and being able to make healthy alternative options. I think vegan food still has a bad rep for tasting flavorless so It inspires me to encourage people to incorporate the lifestyle.

How receptive were individuals to your ideas before they came to fruition?
I just launched only 3 months ago but so far people have been loving the concept, treats and what it stands for.

What would you say to those who don’t have the positive reinforcement of family or and friends when pursuing a passion?
That you can’t revolve your dreams or passion around the opinions and validations of anyone but yourself. All struggles bring strength and are built to make you a stronger wiser person if you allow it. You have to be your own cheerleader because all you have is you at the end of the day and that should be enough.

What does fear mean to you?
Fear to me means limitations and not having enough faith to embrace all your potential or what the world has to offer.

Suggestions or advice for those who are afraid to take the first steps in building a business?
That you have to believe and envision yourself already running the business successfully and take action everyday to get closer to that goal. Also staying focused on what you want and how you’re gonna get there instead of running away or hiding from negative emotions. It’s only when facing being afraid that you win mind over matter and that’s what helps take the necessary steps to starting a business.
