Sometimes I just don’t feel like being in front of the camera, I get too fussy. So today gave me a good excuse to capture some special moments with my two loves. First we headed to church in the morning, as usual. Then we went to a huge skate park by our house, fully equipped with a variety of ramps and bowls. I watched my husband teach my son how to skate in the bowl and help him muster up the courage to go down the ramps. I was beaming from ear to ear as I watched them together and I saw Jaden get over his fears. My husband wasn’t that bad with his skate tricks either…lol. I always appreciate these moments of quality time and diligently seek them. I feel like we live in a time where we are far too consumed with the internet, mobile phones, and TV and have forgotten what it’s really like to have real human connections, interactions, and experiences.

I hope you guys are spending time with your loved ones today. Get away from the computer, phone, and TV! :)
