This past Monday I celebrated my Birthday at Cafeteria with my amazing girls, Nikisha and Fran of HeyFranHey after we concluded our forum at the Meadowlands in New Jersey, for the International Hair & Beauty Show. Then the following day I wrapped up the festivities with my man for dinner at Taqueria and frozen margaritas at Pianos in the lower eastside… but this year’s festivities were a little different.

For all of you who don’t know I have an identical twin sister who goes by the alias TK Wonder. My sister is a Lyricist/Singer/Songwriter who every year goes on tour during the festival circuit overseas, with internationally acclaimed Macedonian electronic musician/producer/composer, Kiril Džajkovski. This year her departure coincided with our Birthday and while I was disappointed and missing her like crazy on our day, I was equally excited!

This summer Kiril Džajkovski and TK Wonder will return to perform for the massive ‘Exit’ Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia. Dubbed one of the “Top Ten World Festival Destinations” by CNN and New York Times, this year’s lineup will include Diplo, Ceelo Green, The Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, SBTRKT and many more. With some of Tk Wonder’s favorite acts in the lineup, you can see why she is ecstatic to be included among these heavy-hitters!

Amongst all the excitement, single, ‘Let Go’ by Nico Llory Ft. TK Wonder was released on Monday as well. TK Wonder edited the entire video to the track using ‘Ghost In The Shell 2.0′ Animation. Definitely one of my favorite new songs, the lyrics and sound will definitely give you that push of motivation to well…Let Go!

TK Wonder will return to New York in August to perform for the ‘Celebrate Brooklyn at The Prospect Park Bandshell’. While August seems light years away I am extremely proud of all she is accomplishing and will definitely keep you all updated on her touring schedule. Until then, here is a look at her video ‘Let Go’.

“The Exit Festival always has a special place in my heart. This was the first festival I performed with Kiril for his set and I remember stepping out on stage and I was soooooo nervous because the crowd was so fricking huge, lol. I was like, “Holy s#@t there are a lot of people out here.”-TK Wonder
