Many naturals want to know how to work out and keep their scalp clean without having to go through the whole washing process. We shouldn’t leave the sweat there and keep working out letting the sweat build up until wash day, it’s not healthy for our scalp. So for all my ladies who work out, you can use a natural astringent to clean your scalp. After each work out soak a cotton pad or cotton cloth with the natural astringent and part your hair in small sections. Using the cotton pad or cloth, wipe along the scalp until you feel you have completed your whole head. You can do this process up until wash day :). Two natural astringents you can use are lemon juice squeezed from a lemon or witch hazel (I recommend Thayer’s brand because it’s alcohol free).
